I wanted to post a couple of pictures from Alex's wedding. It turned out really great! Everyone had such a good time. The food was good, the weather was good (but hot), and Alex and Shane looked like models! Ethan did great. It was a lot of fun. I am so happy for my little sister and her new husband. I can't wait for the future laughs and memories...

I say sort of because these aren't even the most recent pictures I have, but I haven't had time to take them off of my camera! Alex got married last weekend over the 4th and she was a stunning bride! I'll post some pictures of that soon. I promise!

Bad Blogger

I've been so busy with work lately that I haven't had a chance to post anything. Maybe it's because I've been chasing a 14 month around also. Ethan is doing so well. He wants to talk, but he still doesn't really say anything more than mama or dada. He points and says things... but none of it makes any sense. I'm ready for him to say something, but I think I'll enjoy this time since I know once he starts... he's never going to stop.

Happy 1st Birthday Ethan!

I cannot believe that my little guy has been with us for a whole year! He has changed so much since we brought him home. Every day has been a blessing and we are so lucky to have such a beautiful, sweet, happy, healthy, strong boy. He's walking and babbling and eating all of the time. Ethan is such a little cutie and he's still growing. We love him so much.

A couple of 1 year pics...

11 Months

It's been a while since I have posted, but I've been so busy chasing Ethan around. He's WALKING! I guess that's why they call them toddlers... he just takes these adorable baby steps everywhere. I love turning around and seeing him standing there all by himself and walking without holding onto anything. He bends over to pick things up without falling over. It is freaking cute! We had to go to the doctor because he had some congestion in his chest a couple of days before his birthday, so we found out that he is 23 lbs 8 oz (75%) and 30 1/4 inches tall (95%). He has started drinking a little bit of whole milk and we are working on using cups instead of a bottle (that's a lot of fun). He says momma and dada and I think he also trys to say ball. He just started saying "uh-oh" this morning. I love it! He is signing a little bit. He will do the motions for more and if I say bye-bye, he waves his hand over his head. I love it. Pretty soon he will be one year and I cannot believe it. He has grown so much over this year and I love watching him learn new things.

I have had to get creative with these birthday signs. All he wants to do is tear them up and eat them. And then his whole mouth turns blue.
